Multitudo

“A great photograph is one that fully expresses what one feels, in the deepest sense, about what is being photographed.”
– Ansel Adams

Snapshots, the Photography Society of Miranda House College hosted its first ever exhibition ‘Multitudo’  as a part of Tempest 2015. ‘Beauty lies in the eye of the beholder’- the society proved this by putting up a multitude of pictures, which were appreciated by many. A convergence of varieties, ‘Multitudo’ was a great success for the society. It had photographs clicked by the members of Snapshots. The idea behind it, the four elements- earth, air, fire and water, was carried out beautifully.

The event took place in the foyer area of the college. Greta Khawbung along with Iditri Goel and Arushi Agarwal organised the event with help from the rest of the society members. Upon being asked of her experience at the exhibition, Tooba Toufiq of English Hons said, “It was amazing how people see the world in a different way and not just how some see it. And, just how minutely they can capture some moments in the infinite beauty of things. Some pictures like that of the falling rain, the blazing fire and others like ‘I love Mh’, the scenes of sky and nature were very beautiful. What I liked the best about it was the fact that as much as the scene captured, the lens that captured it was handled beautifully by these pretty ladies of Snapshots, Miranda House’.

All in all,the event was an enticing on and paid off.
